An Enhanced Model Using the Kano Model, QFDE, and TRIZ with a Component-Based Approach for Sustainable and Innovative Product Design

In order to increase their competitiveness, companies need have five important capabilities in the product development process, namely, ability identify customer and environmental requirements, convert them into technical create innovative designs, determine best improvement alternatives. Based on a literature survey, previous studies are still inadequate incorporating these simultaneously effectively. This study proposes an enhanced model using Kano model, Quality Function Deployment for Environment (QFDE), theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ), with component-based approach systematically designing sustainable products. An example desk lamp design is used demonstrate proposed model. After identifying they specifically characterized transformed detailed target combination improved QFDE method.
